Joaillerie Royale offers you a wide range of second hand Baume & Mercier watches, for sale in France and in Belgium.
The Baume&Mercier brand was founded in 1830 in Switzerland by the brothers Louis Victor and Joseph Baume. They began by making pocket watches, but it was through their work on the chronograph that the brand became known and attracted the British world.
It was in 1844 that the brothers opened their first shop in London, "Baume Brothers". In 1920, William, the third son of Alcide Eugène, set up as a watchmaker in Geneva and met Paul Mercier. The latter of Mongolian origin (Paul Tchereditchenko) obtained French nationality in 1919. From this meeting the firm Baume & Mercier was to become a great name in Geneva watchmaking.
